A Netflix original series, Stranger Things took the world by storm when it was released in 2016. A Sci-Fi horror, the story takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins Indiana during the 1980’s, where the government are examining the paranormal which also involves experimenting on humans. When one of these experiments goes wrong they inadvertently open a doorway to an alternate world known as the ‘Upside Down’ allowing a dangerous creature to enter our realm. When a young boy called Will mysteriously disappears, his friends decide to investigate. This introduces them to a girl known only as eleven; a seemingly ordinary girl, who just so happens to be able to flip cars with her mind. The events that follow this meeting shake the very foundations of the sleepy town of Hawkins. Stranger Things has been praised by fans and critics alike, with the release of season 4, it is fair to say the world has gone crazy for Stranger Things. Welcome to the Upside Down.
