This single 12” 85 watt Mesa Boogie Mark IV packs an incredible punch and is easily one of the most versatile and hard rocking single 12” combo amps ever made. This amp has three channels and a wide foodswitch giving you access to crystalline clean tones through to crushing heavy driven tones. A favourite setting for us at Premier is to have the harmonic switch activated, which leads to long, musical sustaining feedback.

This amp is deceptively heavy at 37.6kg, despite its small size, however this weight is a testament to the sheer power and versatility of the unit. The spring reverb sings as a classic spring reverb should. This is one amp you could gig with and never feel the need to bring additional pedals.  

The amp has tone adjustment pre gain and a 5 fader equalizer post gain. We found that driving the treble hard into the gain stages and rounding off the highs on the equalizer gives an amazing, clear, sparking drive with a soaring lead tone right the way up the fretboard. Boosting the low and low mids pre gain gives a classic fuzz tone. As you can see, the options are incredibly wide and varied.  

This amp presents as near new. All knobs and switches are in tact and fully functional. Grill cloth is A and the tolex is unblemished.  

All in all, this is a perfect, small, do absolutely everything kind of amp. You’ll enjoy taking the time to dial in your signature sound.
